Hygiene rules

For the realization of the event we have an approved hygiene concept of the city of Chemnitz. Basically, we focus on maturity and a sense of responsibility towards your fellow human beings during your visit.

Restricted access

Due to the current hygiene concept, the number of visitors in Exhibition Hall G in the Wirkbau is limited to 90 persons, so we ask for your understanding and consideration in case of waiting times. Early arrival at the exhibition can help to avoid long waiting times.

The events will also take place under the necessary protection and hygiene measures.

Distance regulations

Please keep your distance! In all venues, the minimum distance of 1.5 metres applies between persons who do not belong to a household. 1.5 metres is more than you might think. So if in case of doubt, make an extra turn around the visitors! In the venues, the distance regulations are regulated by fixed seating arrangements or by groupings of seats.

Mouth and nose mask

The wearing of a mouth-nose mask is compulsory within the exhibition rooms. Not under it, not next to it, but fully on mouth and nose!

Visitors to the accompanying events are requested to wear a mouth-nose mask when entering or leaving the event.

Hand hygiene

To improve regular hand hygiene, we provide hand disinfectant dispensers in the venues. Please make use of them as well! This applies both when visiting the exhibition rooms of Wirkbau and when entering the venues as part of the accompanying programme.

Collection of contact details

In order to ensure transparent contact tracing, we are required to collect the following data from you: Surname, first name, postcode, telephone number or e-mail address and, if applicable, seat and row of seats or table number. Please answer honestly!

Safety first!

We are happy to have you and stay healthy

Support POCHEN

POCHEN is mainly supported by a voluntary core team of about 8 people interested in art, who are happy to invest time together and sometimes even their vacations to make the exhibition or symposium with its accompanying program possible.

Our work is supported by donations in kind from companies in the region and by funding from local authorities, the state and institutions. The funds come from the Federal Cultural Foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony, the special support program "Democracy & Revolution" of the SAB Saxony and the City of Chemnitz.

In order to cover the full costs and at best to have start-up financing for the POCHEN Symposium 2021, we are dependent on your support!

We are looking for your support!

You want to support POCHEN or get involved with us? You are welcome to become part of the POCHEN crew, who make this project possible with a lot of joy, commitment and enthusiasm. Please send us a mail to We are happy about your support!
